Vortex & Flowforms
The DEWATS (decentralized waste water treatment system) can be seen in use in several places around Auroville. The vortex system is useful in more compact areas that do not have sufficient space for a planted filter bed. Flowforms, through which the water travels into the polishing pond, can be integrated into the landscape in an aesthetically pleasing way.
