women_empowerment_2_WELL (Women’s Empowerment through Local Livelihoods) aims to create alternative livelihoods for women from the villages around Auroville by training them in leadership skills and the production of products from recycled materials. Following a 4-6 month training programme, WELL assists women in setting up independent profit-sharing production units. Well Paper products range from baskets to bags to jewelry and accessories.
