Toine is Co-Founder of Auroville Consulting, an Auroville enterprise that facilitates a two-way flow of information and expertise between Auroville and external professionals and institutions through seminars workshops, training and consultancy services. Auroville Consulting has focused on sustainable development-related assignments since its inception in 2010.

In Auroville he first worked for many years on the construction of the Matrimandir and later founded and managed several community services. He was also a founding member of the Auroville Renewable Energy Group, which later evolved into several Auroville renewable energy units and activities. For a period of 12 years, he held senior management positions in the global wind energy sector. Toine also contributes to Auroville’s infrastructure planning and development.
